The Orchard & Kitchen Garden
The Orchard has several varieties of cooking and eating apples, pears, plums and cherry trees. An avenue of young cherry and plum trees, planted in 2011, draws your eye from the visitor entrance to the Azalea Walk and Stody Lodge beyond.
The Kitchen Garden has now been moved closer to the Lodge for greater convenience. At times chickens graze the fruit cage, both to fertilise the soil but also to eat pests and insects.
